Today is Census Day. If you haven't completed the 2020 Census yet, today is the perfect day to get counted!
The Census impacts how much funding our schools and hospitals receive and even impacts our representation in government. An undercount of just 1% would mean a loss of $300 million over 10 years for the state of Montana.

It’s easy: You can choose between a paper form, a phone call to the Census Bureau, or a quick online survey. Just 10 minutes can change the next 10 years for you and your family.

It’s important: Montana receives almost $3 billion every year for programs (like Medicaid and SNAP) based on Census data, and the communities that rely most on those programs are also the most chronically undercounted.

It’s protected: The Census Bureau can’t share your personal information with ICE or law enforcement, it can’t be shared with your landlord, and it won’t affect any public benefits you receive. Your personal information is protected by law.
